"K" Cleaning Jag is made of brass and stamped with a “5” for .75 cal. "K" Cleaning Jag has Hoppes male thread (5/16x27) for use with our range rods. Extra length on the side provides more surface so the patch stays in contact with the barrel a little longer. This helps to clean the barrel quicker and more thoroughly. "K" Jag is the top jag in the picture.
 
Our “K” cleaning jags and fouling scrapers with the 5/16 x 27 Hoppes male thread have thicker/heavier/wider shanks than button jags with 8 x 32 or 10 x 32 male thread shanks. With enough stress, anything can be broken. But the shanks on the 5/16 x 27 Hoppes male thread can tolerate more stress than smaller shanks.
