The RCBS N-SSA Hodgdon is a popular choice among modern day Civil War competitive shooters. A minie/wadcutter that prefers a snug fit in a barrel, normally sized .001” or .002” less than bore diameter and usually likes FFFg blackpowder to expand the skirt into the grooves. RCBS moulds are made from rugged iron blocks and meticulously
machined to produce solid cast iron moulds. The sprue cutters are made of tough steel plate to cut clean and flat.
